Perfect, does exactly what I expect. I cannot for the life of me fathom why this feature was removed from Firefox, and with more than 21K people bothering to look for and install this plugin, clearly I’m not the only one who missed it.

Look I know for those who like tabs, it is absolutely impossible to fathom why someone would prefer to use their browser another way but please try to remember that everyone has their own preference and don’t take away choices.

Personally I’ve tried to like tabs but I just don’t. I often have multiple browser windows open and alt-tab between them. I’ve already got a perfectly usable task bar in my OS and the browser tabs are a redundant second task bar specific to the browser.

Great plugin. Don’t understand why they removed this preference if they still offer opening in window instead of tab. If you open in a new window, then you don’t want the damn tab bar in your way.
Yes, we need it, thanks for bringing it back!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Can’t say much about a thing that does what’s supposed to do other than ‘Excellent!’. Thanks, Chris!
Dear Mozilla, removing this feature from Firefox – for whatever reason – was wrong since it works against the idea of a neat and uncluttered browsing experience.
